Walk-In Testing and Care for COVID-19 Symptoms
If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or were exposed to someone who tested positive, AFC Urgent Care can test, evaluate and treat you. Walk in at our Buffalo, Depew or Orchard Park clinic seven days a week.
COVID-19 symptoms often overlap with flu and other respiratory infections. Common symptoms include:
Rapid antigen tests return results quickly and are most reliable when you have symptoms. PCR tests are more sensitive and can detect the virus earlier or when symptoms are mild. Our providers will recommend the right test for your situation.
Get tested if you have symptoms, about five days after a known exposure, or before visiting someone at higher risk of serious illness.
Most people recover at home with rest, fluids and over-the-counter medicine for fever and aches. Some patients at higher risk may qualify for antiviral treatment, which works best when started soon after symptoms begin.
