WNY Immediate Care has been providing urgent care and occupational health services in the greater Buffalo, NY area since 2005. Through our quality and compassionate treatment, we have earned the public’s trust as the urgent care market leader in the greater Buffalo area.
WNY Immediate Care was founded in 2005 by local emergency medicine physicians. Today, the practice is managed by TeamHealth, a national healthcare management organization. TeamHealth staffs and manages urgent care facilities with hospital partners throughout the United States. Offices for the national TeamHealth Urgent Care division are located in Amherst, New York.
With five free-standing centers in Buffalo we are the market leader in Western New York caring for more than 125,000 patients each year. Regardless of our size, WNY Immediate Care is committed to total patient satisfaction. The vast majority of our patients report that they are “very satisfied” with our services, and 99% say that they “would return again.” We create an environment and experience that exceeds expectations.
WNY Immediate Care has met the rigorous accreditation standards of The Urgent Care Association (UCA). The UCA is one of the nation’s premier independent organizations for urgent care. Members are recognized for the highest quality and safety requirements.
At WNY Immediate Care our doctors treat patients. How is that different than other urgent care centers? Urgent Care centers in the area have doctor(s) on staff but their primary role is to oversee the midlevel providers; in many cases they do not treat patients and are not in the facility.
We are proud to have more than 20 physicians working across five WNY Immediate Care centers. Our on-site physicians work collaboratively with mid-level providers to help ensure delivery of the highest quality of care. When you need the best care, come to WNY Immediate Care!
